Class News in 61 languages, proven sailing terms - Yes it translates

Google Translate can roughly copy from English to 61 languages, but the emphasis is on rough, very rough.
Travellers, sheets, booms are just a few sailing terms of many hundreds that will be trashed because they have a different common meaning; so for a Class website, using Google Translate can be an easy way to become a source of fun.
Sail-World, the largest sailing news source in the world, with 13 sailing websites and 220,000 readers each month, is the website that is closest to the Olympic classes. It had seven photographers and journalists in Qingdao and the same in Weymouth.
Over the last two years, Sail-world has been developing 1000 sailing technical phrase and word translation tables. We have these in Spanish, Italian, French, Polish, and German, Dutch and another dozen or so, with many more to follow including Arabic, Mandarin and the Scandinavian languages. The aim is to have the 40 languages in the world done inside 12 months and that means technically accurate sailing content will be available for 95% of the world’s sailors.
