Port of Stockholm SW
Probably the next most beautiful thing after a good sailing voyage is an arrival into an old and beautiful port. While you are thinking what YOUR most beautiful arrivals have been, here below is what www.marineinsight.com!Marine_Insight thinks, including Stockholm pictured above, are the twelve most beautiful old ports in the world (in no particular order). How many have you sailed to? Does the list make you hopping mad and why? What would you add or replace on the list?
Dubrovnik in Croatia:
Venice in Italy,
Istanbul in Turkey,
Piraeus in Greece,
Quebec City in Canada,
St. Petersburg in Russia,
Alexandria in Egypt,
Haifa in Israel,
Bizerta in Tunisia,
Miami in Florida
Nassau, Bahamas.
If you would like YOUR most beautiful port added to the list, maybe we'll publish another list - also in no particular order.
