John with one of the brand-new Nobles Marine Auctions has on offer. Marine Auctions
The next on-site Auction to be held at the Rivergate Marina & Shipyard will take place Saturday 16th March 2013 at 10am – the ideal occasion to buy your new boat, then head to the Brisbane Tinnie & Tackle Show just minutes away at the RNA Showgrounds.
'We have a dozen boats, so there’s not a massive number of boats, and we planned it that way,' says Adrian Seiffert, Director at Marine Auctions. 'The boats we have are good boats, and make it well worth visiting.'
Organisers are expecting around 100 people, and if you can’t make it to Brisbane, you can bid by phone. 'We have eight phone bidders registered already and a couple likely to call in tomorrow. If people are interested, they can call our office and visit our website for more details.'
Among the boats on auction tomorrow are a 2006 Schionning 46ft catamaran, a 7-berth, 41ft Blue Water cruiser that has been immaculately restored, a 2009 Delphia 40 refouled in February, an Arends 33 cruising sloop, a 10m Cougar Cat, ex-police boat, and a Bass Strait Offshore 24 used for air-sea rescue, all going for reasonable prices, on behalf of motivated sellers who have moved on or up.
In addition, Adrian reports, there are a couple of new Noble aluminium boats, 5.8 and 6.25m.
'Marine Auctions are the exclusive agents for Noble Boats. We’ve sold 30 new Nobles recently at Auction. The Auction of the two Nobles on Saturday will no doubt be the last opportunity you could purchase one well below retail value, as Noble Boats are undertaking a major TV promotion in the next few weeks and we believe the demand and prices for Noble Boats will increase.'
Phone Bidding is available for the Auction on the 16th March. For Phone Bidding Details contact Jo on 0407 213 557 or jo(at)marineauctions.com.au.
The next auction Marine Auctions is accepting booking for is the Brisbane Auction, to be held at the Rivergate Marina on Saturday 27 April For further details contact John Ferrett on 0448 881 902 or john.f(at)marineauctions.com.au.
Then Sunday May 26, the Gold Coast Auction will be held at the Runaway Bay Marina (Sanctuary Cove Boat Show weekend). For further details contact Bill Fankhauser on 0413 612 561 or bill(at)marineauctions.com.au
Marine Auctions will be holding a Major Marina Berth Online Auction with around 20 Marina Berths situated at, Port of Airlie Marina; Mackay Marina; Moreton Bay Boat Club; Dockside Marina, Brisbane City; Rivergate Marina, Brisbane River; Manly Harbour; Raby Bay Marina and Horizon Shores Marina.
Full Details of all the berths will be available soon at www.marineauctions.com.au. The online bidding will commence Friday 12 April and will end on Thursday 18 April at 3pm. For information, contact Adrian on 0418 783 358 or adrian(at)marineauctions.com.au
Says Adrian: 'Now is the time to buy with the values of many marina berths and boats falling by about 50% in the last 12 to 18 months. You will never get a better opportunity than now in purchasing any type of boat. Many people consider heading off to the US to purchase a boat, however if these people did some homework, they would probably purchase a better boat in Australia a lot cheaper.'
