The RYA Dinghy Show 2013 is taking place over the weekend of 2nd and 3rd March at Alexandra Palace, London and will play host to over 200 exhibitors from sailing clubs, classes and associations to commercial businesses who will fill the exhibition halls with everything you need to get started or improve your dinghy sailing.

For all those visitors interested in new boats, check out one of the many class associations who will be proudly exhibiting their latest models, such as the Cherub Class (C38) who will be displaying the first Ellway 7 and the Enterprise Class who will be exhibiting the new Mark lll Rondar Raceboat.

If it’s new kit you’re in search of then pay a visit to Nucleus Yachting (stand G46) for a range of drysuits and sailing accessories including boots, gloves, buoyancy aids, cagoules, rash vests and trapezes. Drop by stand B58 where English Braids Limited, will be displaying quality cord and performance rope and introducing their 2013 race proven competition ropes made from the latest Dyneema fabrics.

Over on stand D4, the Mirror class are celebrating their 50th anniversary, so come along and join the celebrations and see how the class has developed with the times. The West Hall will feature an exhibition of Mirrors through the ages so take a look and you might even be able to spot your old boat!

There are also loads of prizes up for grabs from the many exhibitors’ competitions and prize draws taking place throughout the weekend.

Pin your favourite sailing photo to the Harken ‘Cool Wall’ on stand G30 and you could be the proud owner of up to £400 of Harken vouchers. If you fancy getting away then France Leisure Holidays will be running a free prize draw giving away a week’s holiday in Western France on stand A10.

For beginners or those looking to get involved in the sport, your local sailing club or training centre is the perfect place to start. Find out what the clubs in your local area can offer; from training courses and taster sessions to volunteering opportunities and social events.

If that’s whetted your appetite then see who else is exhibiting here.
