For anyone in the sailing industry this rating information is an essential check on your own website statistics. It is also a good way of measuring sites and events where your stories and advertising are appearing - so you are getting traffic shifted to your site, or awareness of your products and brands are being seen by a much wider audience.

Tens of thousands of sailing fans flock to Sail-World.com each day from around the world. We've been running online for 16 years and have amassed a massive archive of stories and information.

By downloading the Sail-World toolbar, you are able to access this archive regardless of whether the event happened a minute ago, or a decade or more previously. To the right there is an icon which will show the relative ranking of the site you are currently on. They are ranked 1 to 10 million in the world, where #1 is just that, the most popular site in the world based on Alexa readership, and 10 millionth is at the tail of the field.

You can move off the Sail-World site with this toolbar, just key in the site address you want to visit in the usual way and you are there. Click on the Sail-World logo on the left of the toolbar to return to Sail-World.
