Bill Wild’’s Wedgetail - XXXX Sail Paradise 2013 Bronwen Ince
The XXXX Sail Paradise Regatta, which will be hosted by Southport Yacht Club from March 15 to 17, will feature the comeback run of Bill Wild's RP55 Wedgetail after 12 months of hiatus from competitive sailing.

Wedgetail will return to the waters, entering in the 2013 Queensland IRC State Championships, to be held at Southport Yacht Club's XXXX Sail Paradise Regatta.

Due to its departure from Sydney over 12 months ago, Wedgetail's sailing has been inactive. 'It is disappointing I have missed the last two Sydney to Hobart's', said Wild.

'However now settled in at RQYS in Brisbane, Wild is ready to get out on the race track again, XXXX Sail Paradise being the first of many events for him this year. 'It will be nice to do a regatta at home, as I now live on the Gold Coast'. Wild added.

Peters Harburg's Reichel Pugh 66 Black Jack will also be a hot contender in the 2013 Queensland State IRC Championships. Black Jack has been an extremely competitive entrant at SYC XXXX Sail Paradise in previous years.

Other regular Entrants returning to the XXXX Sail Paradise Regatta include Southport Yacht Club's Leeway-Ensign, skippered by owner, Tony Horkings and Southport Yacht Club's Vice Commodore Sail Mathew Percy, owner and skipper of Alacrity will also be out for the 2013 Queensland IRC state Title. Alacrity won the inaugural Sail Paradise in 2010, can he do it again in XXXX Sail Paradise Regatta
