SeaLink Magnetic Island Race Week 2013 is to be held from 29th August to 3rd September on Cleveland Bay and nearby waters. Magnetic Island Race Week and the Townsville Cruising Yacht Club, as Organising Authority, invite owners of suitably found yachts to apply for entry in the seventh annual Magnetic Island Race Week.

The regatta shall be governed by the rules as defined in the 2012 – 2016 Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) of the International Sailing Federation (ISAF).

This regatta is classified as a Category '6' event (YA Special Regulations, Part 1).

Racing will be provided in the following Divisions subject to at least six (6) entries being made or accepted in that Division. Should there be insufficient entries to form a particular Division yachts entered for that Division may be allocated to another Division at the discretion of the Race Committee. The Race Committee may at its discretion form additional Divisions as required.

Registration for all divisions commences on Thursday 29 August 2013 at event headquarters, Peppers Blue on Blue Resort. Racing will commence Friday 30 August – Tuesday 3 September 2013.

Eligible boats shall enter online from Monday 1 April and no later than Friday 23 August 2013 via the event website.

The entry fee will be AUS $390.00 + GST for the IRC Racing, PHS Racing, Cruising with Spinnaker, Cruising – Non Spinnaker, Sports Boats and Multi Hull Divisions.

The Transat CIC off to a spectacular start
