Geneva based company TeamWork, specialised in IT services, have announced that freeride champion Aurélien Ducroz and top level sailor Bertrand Delesne join the Swiss sailor Justine Mettraux, who will compete in this year’s Mini Transat under TeamWork’s colours.

The Geneva based company TeamWork, specialised in IT services, presented its sportive program to the media this morning.

Freerider Aurélien Ducroz, world champion in 2009 and 2011, will compete in the Freeride World Tour 2013 whilst Justine Mettraux and Bertrand Delesne will race in the Mini Transat under TeamWork’s colours.

TeamWork will also support Team HEC Lausanne who will compete in the EDHEC regatta, whilst the M2 catamaran TeamWork will be a contender of the M2 Speed Tour for the sixth consecutive time. The company also becomes the event’s title sponsor. Last but not least, TeamWorks’ employees will carry on climbing all of the Alps’ summits above 4000 meters; there are only 15 left out of 82!

Justine Mettraux, who sails in the production class 'Nacira', started sailing professionally last year, winning the Open Demi-Clé, La Trinité-Plymouth, the Mini-Fastnet as well as the first stopover of Les Sables-Les Açores-Les Sables. She also finished second in the UK Mini Fastnet.

Bertrand Delesne, who ranked fourth in the Transat 6,50 2011, will compete in 2013 with high ambitions in the prototypes category.

Philippe Rey-Gorrez, President of TeamWork : 'The projet « TeamWork Voile et Montagne » is first of all a human venture. Our goal is to help its members to achieve their personal goals, or to exceed them. The arrival of Bertrand Delesne and Aurélien Ducroz are in line with our philosophy and we look forward to sharing great moments with them.'

Justine Mettraux, skipper Mini 6,50 Nacira : 'My first season as a professional, in 2012, helped confirm that this really is what I want to do. I can see that my potential is good, and that I can sail within the best. I will carry on working hard this year, and improve my level in order to be at the top for the Mini Transat.'

Bertrand Delesne, Skipper Mini 6,50 proto : 'It’s a real pleasure to join such a professional team as TeamWork, with people who are passionate. My boat is excellent, and perfectly adapted to the new course of the Mini Transat. This edition of the event will be great!'

Aurélien Ducroz, Freerider : 'Freeride is skiing’s offshore sailing…There is a starting point and an arrival, and you need to choose the best line between the two. My goal is to become world champion once again, and to win the X-Treme of Verbier. I look forward to this new season under TeamWork’s colours: we share the same values!'
