Sail Brisbane action returns to Waterloo Bay

by Meghan Andrew on 10 Jan 2013 This Easter will see the return of the Sail Brisbane event to the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron. Open to internationally and nationally recognised classes, the event will provide four days of exciting racing around Waterloo Bay. Sail Brisbane will take place from Thursday 28 March to Monday 1 April, with the event schedule designed to cater for interstate visitors needing to return home for the work week or continue on into sunny Queensland for the school holidays.

The Event Schedule is as follows

Thursday 28 March: Early Registration
Friday 29 March: Registration, Racing from 1.30pm
Saturday 30 March: Racing from 11am, Post Race Function
Sunday 31 March: Racing from 11am
Monday 1 April: Racing from 1000, with no start after 1.30pm

The organisers are excited to announce that, in addition to internationally and nationally recognised classes, Sail Brisbane will include an IKA Ranked event for Kiteboarding. This is great for Kiteboarding in Queensland and throughout Australia as the class looks to expand nationally.
