Fireball sailors wanted!

by Andy Robinson on 1 Jan 2013
Fireball Association http://www.fireballsailing.org.uk
Want the chance to sail a fully sponsored, championship-winning Fireball next year? Are you able to participate in the National and Inland Championships and select open meetings on next year’s circuit? Are you a young team, based in the UK and under 25?

If you answered yes to most of the above, then the UK Fireball class could be looking for you!

We are pleased to announce that the fully sponsored Class Association Winder Fleet boat is available with a new suit of sails for next years event calendar.

Following the astounding success of James and Dan Ellis, the Plymouth based sailors who sailed Fireball 15080 to Nationals glory in 2012, the boat is now available to help some more of the UK’s brightest young talent get straight into the business end of a highly competitive class.

With its wide range of crew weight, blistering performance, excellent open circuit and friendly social scene, the Fireball continues to go from strength to strength.

Think you might qualify? Want the chance to sail a fully sorted, fully sponsored boat for a season? Then apply in writing by submitting your sailing CV (Helm and Crew) along with reasons as to why you should win to; chairman@fireballsailing.org.uk.

Full details of the entry criteria can be found on the UKFA website

The winners will be announced at the Dinghy Show in early March 2013 and entry closes March 1st.
