Cruising Outpost Radio plays nothing but sailing and tropical songs SW
There are few songs that avid sailors like better than the cliched 'Sailing' by Rod Stewart. Now there's a radio station which plays nothing but sailing and tropical music, and it's free Internet radio, program directed by Steve Hall, who lives aboard his boat Endless Summer, an Allied Mistress 39.
He not only program directs it, but also programmed and created the software that runs the radio station. Cruising sailors are reaping the benefits of Steve's earlier life as a computer programmer since the late 1970's, working at various Internet related jobs throughout the United States, including Cape Canaveral, Auburn University and Flexwave International, an Internet Service Provider that he started along with other student friends while attending Auburn University.
So if you have ever wished there was more music like the Jimmy Buffett and Bob Marley tunes sailors love, this is it.
You'll find a lot more boat music played with a beat with a rhythm of the sea. Find it streamed for free by clicking the Cruising Outpost Radio station.
There's more. If you like steel drums, reggae, boat music and living life to Calypso beat, you’ll love it.
