Yacht Feature- Fountaine Pajot's Victoria 67

by Sail-World Cruising on 8 Dec 2012
Victoria 67 by Fountaine Pajot SW
It's not quite a superyacht/supercat, but it's no normal cruising cat either. Fountaine Pajot has unveiled spectacular new Flagship model for 2013, a top-of-the-range addition to its range of catamarans. It's called the Victoria 67.

This quite luxurious sailing catamaran was inspired by its predecessor, the Galathea 65, and was designed by the shipyard and Berret Racoupeau architects in response to the specific demands of Fountaine Pajot’s past multihull clients.

The Victoria 67 features a sleek exterior design complete with full flydeck, a new innovation in the shipyard’s sailing range.

Setting a new benchmark as the company’s largest catamaran, the Victoria 67 has the largest sail area, the biggest interior volume and the most expansive owner’s suite of the Fountaine Pajot range. She is also the only model with a full flybridge

The dramatic flydeck can be easily accessed from the cockpit via two secure stairways. With decadent benches, sofas and tables, it is a spacious haven for relaxation, reminiscent of lounging in a world’s best hotel.

The flydeck also provides excellent visibility for crew with an ergonomically designed helmstation and efficient deck equipment. This helps to enable smooth operation of the catamaran under power or sail. At the aft of the flydeck is an exclusive zone to accommodate communication equipment and solar panels.

The generous interior of the Victoria 67 was designed by Isabelle Racoupeau who employed an ‘urban chic’ approach to create a 'warm yet contemporary' living space.

Expansive passageways, built-in equipment, separate living areas, subtle lines and a carefully considered floor plan create a highly functional and eminently elegant interior. The huge saloon is gently bathed in light from an expanse of panoramic windows.
