Discovery Yachts will debut their dazzling new Discovery 57 luxury blue-water cruising yacht at Boot Dusseldorf, 19th-27th January 2013, Hall 16 stand 16D20. Designed to be sailed by just two people, this impressive new model in the company's range retains all the clever features loved by current owners whilst offering a host of new custom-designed innovations, clever design solutions and a very high level of quality equipment specified as standard. The new Discovery 57 is built by the very best British craftsmen to ensure enduring quality and lasting value.

The superb performance and easy handling of the new Discovery 57 are the result of the classic Ron Holland hull design which ensures exhilarating and effortless sailing from the comfort of the cockpit. The sleek waterline combined with fine entry and beam carried aft enable extremely comfortable passage-making as well as exceptional performance.

The new technically advanced resin-infused hull results in a substantially lighter finished yacht and together with the twin-wheels and semi-balanced rudder ensure that the 57 is light on the helm and easy to manoeuvre as well as having a large, safe and sociable cockpit.

The luxury interior designed by Ken Freivokh offers owners a light and airy, flexible on-board living space, in a choice of exquisite wood finishes with a fully equipped galley and super comfortable beds. Panoramic vision is the hallmark of Discovery Yachts and the new 57 is no exception with a large raised saloon and separate navigation position both offering excellent visibility as well as safety and comfort.

The new Discovery 57 boasts a host of innovations including custom designed electric davits for easy tender launch and recovery, specially designed and manufactured masts to exactly suit the hull and sail plan as well as highly advanced toughened glass in the panoramic saloon. In addition meticulous planning has gone into the location of all the boat's systems to ensure practical and easy access. The yacht is fitted with a high level of top quality equipment as standard, including generator, microwave, washer/dryer, central heating and electric in-mast furling.
