Quickline Anchoring System becomes standard for Lazzara Yachts LSX 64

by Randy Boelsems on 25 Oct 2012
Quickline, a world-class importer and distributor of quality marine gear and accessory products, announced today that its Ultra Anchor, Ultra Flip Swivel and Ultra Bow Roller are now standard equipment on the new Lazzara Yachts LSX 64. A premium boat builder, Lazzara selected the Ultra Anchor for its premier design and high-quality construction.

The quickest setting and highest holding anchor available today, the Ultra Anchor, and Ultra Flip Swivel, are polished to a mirror finish and are an attractive addition to Lazzara’s line of exquisite, leading-edge luxury vessels.

'We are proud to have our Quickline products sold standard on the new LSX 64 Lazzara,' said Randy Boelsems, president of Quickline. 'Discerning yachtsmen the world over have long known that the Ultra Anchor system is the best available and rely on it to ensure a quick, strong, deep set for staying put during changes in direction of pull. Now all LSX 64’s will receive the same safety, ease of use, security and peace of mind our stylish system provides.'

Constructed of 316L stainless steel, the Ultra Anchor from Quickline is type certified SHP (Superior Holding Power) by the ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) for its entire line from 11 to 800 pounds. The Ultra Anchor features an extremely large concave fluke for high holding power. Its hollow shank and lead-filled base focus the center of gravity near the tip of the concave fluke ensuring immediate rotation and dig when it hits the sea floor. Once set, its large concave fluke holds tight in all bottom conditions. The Ultra Anchor has a lifetime warranty to never bend, break, crack or rust. The Ultra Flip Swivel is the strongest device available to connect anchor rode to anchor.

Its compact design shortens the required length between windlass and bow roller — reducing clutter on the foredeck and saves deck space. Built of 316L stainless steel, the Ultra Flip Swivel is designed to take a side load up to its breaking strength. A Teflon® coasted ball ensures smooth rotation and unique design eliminates binding and ensures the anchor rotates into its proper position. The Ultra Bow Roller is also built of rugged 316L stainless steel to face the challenging marine environment and is offered in articulated or fixed versions. Short, medium and long base plates are available for decks requiring additional accommodation.

The Quickline Ultra Anchor is available in seventeen sizes ranging from 11 to 800 pounds (5-360 kg) and has a retail price range of US $648.00 to $32,760.00; the Ultra Flip Swivel is rated for chains from 3/16-inch to 1-inch and has a retail price range of $270.00 to $2,362.00; and the Ultra Bow Roller is rated for 11- to 800-pound anchors and is priced from $329.00 to $6,580.00. Quickline Ultra products are available from marine hardware dealers and leading boat yards throughout the Americas and the Caribbean, and directly from Quickline (www.quickline.us).
