Learn to Sail and dinghy training for grown ups

by Zoe Hawkins on 3 Oct 2012
French Bay Sailing Club is situated at Titirangi on the Manukau Harbour zoe hawkins

French Bay Yacht Club in Titirangi has four one-day sailing courses for adults this summer season, and is now accepting bookings.

They are a great way to learn (or re-learn) the basics that you need to start sailing regularly with the club, or with any club for that matter. They are run by Elements Watersports sailing school so you get instructors who know what they are doing and who can help you get up to speed quickly.

The courses will be held on:
27 October 2012 (8am-12pm)
28 October 2012 (9am-1pm)
2 March 2013 (midday-4pm)
3 March 2013 (midday-4pm)

Graduating sailors will be able to join the club and use the club's fleet of Cadet and Topaz Sailing Dinghies to get experience, with the ultimate aim being for you to buy your own boat, either as a family or as an individual, and to sail with us regularly.

We have coaching, racing, and fun social sailing right through the summer.

If you'd like to find out more, please visit the Adult Learn to Sail course page on our website http://www.frenchbay.org.nz
