Royal Huisman signs up with Asia Superyacht Rendezvous

Royal Huisman has joined the prestigious group of Asia Superyacht Rendezvous sponsors and partners as an Official Contributing Sponsor of the 12th annual elite social gathering of motor and sail superyachts from around the world. Held annually in December (this year, 16th-18th) on the island of Phuket, Thailand, the tropical on-and-off water event will take place at the stunning Angsana Laguna Phuket and Xana Beach Club, Host Hotel Sponsor of the Asia Superyacht Rendezvous.

The largest superyacht event of its type in Asia, and a magnet for the region's top of the line superyachts, the Rendezvous’ Royal Huisman joins an elite cortège of sponsors, including: Principal Sponsor Feadship Royal Dutch Shipyards, Boat International Media, Angsana Laguna Phuket incorporating Xana Beach Club; and Asia Pacific Superyachts along with regional media partners, YACHTStyle and Palace magazines, and the Phuket Gazette and The Nation newspapers.

Organisers Gordon Fernandes, General Manager of Asia Pacific Superyachts and Captain Charlie Dwyer, skipper of the luxury gentleman’s sailing superyacht Yanneke Too, in a statement noted: 'We are delighted that Royal Huisman has come on board as Contributing Sponsor. Of special interest is the first-time attendance of the Royal Huisman-built magnificent sailing yacht, Twizzle set to join the impressive list of participating sail and motor superyachts.'

Twizzle is a 57.50m (188'7'ft) sailing yacht, launched in 2010, and the first of its kind to be constructed by the famous yacht builders, Royal Huisman. Established in 1884 Royal Huisman is a highly respected, family-owned, custom yacht builder and was granted a Royal Warrant in 1984, in recognition of 100 years of quality and excellence in boat building.
