AS 1209262619 - Platu 25 Worlds - Second day Ainhoa Sanchez Vidales
After a very hard day, with three races and almost nine hours spent outside yesterday, today the 49 crews that are taking part in the Platu 25 World Championship in Rosignano (23-29 September), were ready for competing in the second day. But a too strong wind blowing from South East - almost 40 knots- forced the Committee to suspend everything for today.
The Italian 'Euz II Monella Vagabonda' helmed by Sandro Montefusco is leading the overall ranking list but it will have to face the Spanish power represented by 'Mar de Frades' with Anton and Carlos Paz and 'Sperry Coppel Dental' that are following at second and third place in the general ranking list with just four points of distance.
Not to underestimated the Italian 'Hurrà' helmed by Francesco Lagirti. This crew from Tuscany knows the World Regatta field like his pokets and they have for sure again a lot to say. Fernando Morillo's 'Sori' also, that placed a brilliant second last Tuesday in the last race, could reserve some surprises. All the games are still open and the high level competition among the adversaries will guarantee a very exciting challenge.
