Cork International Sailing Regatta underway

The Cork International Sailing Regatta got underway Monday morning with 400 sailors competing in Kingston, Ontario. The regatta is the largest summertime youth event in North America with racing continuing until Thursday, August 16th.

Cork and Ontario Sailing provides racing and learning opportunities for all participants with daily debrief sessions, including the Maclaren Debrief on Wednesday August 15th, featuring Canadian Olympic Team Sailor David Wright. David will meet with the junior sailors to discuss their day on the water as well as share his personal story, having sailed in this very regatta as a teenager.

Cork/Sail Kingston is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing racing and training opportunities for sailors of all ages. The organisation hosts the annual Cork Regattas and major Championships in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Cork website
