The 49er's took their turn on Portland Harbour today, with two races sailed in moderate breezes. For some of the media it was a chance to see Telefonica skipper, Icker Martinez take the tiller of a 49er after nine months on the wheel of a Volvo Ocean Racer.
Current world champions Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen put one hand on the Gold Medal today, stepping out to a 20 point lead in the Olympic skiff over Peter Burling and Blair Tuke of New Zealand.
Sail-World was on the water to catch the action.
