Claire Pruvot (Port de Caen Ouistreham) se détourne

Ce samedi à 8h35, Claire Pruvot signalait à la Direction de Course de La Solitaire du Figaro-Eric Bompard cachemire qu'elle faisait route vers Lorient, suite à la rupture d'une barre de flèche.

La « bleue » Claire Pruvot qui pointait à seulement cinq minutes du leader des « bizuts » à l'issue des deux premières étapes de La Solitaire du Figaro, le Britannique Jackson Bouttell (Artemis 77) avec qui elle naviguait au contact depuis le passage de l'île d'Yeu la nuit dernière, a été contrainte de se détourner vers Lorient. La barre de flèche supérieure bâbord de son Figaro-Bénéteau s'est en effet rompue et l'intégrité du gréement était donc mise en cause.

Après avoir viré de bord, assuré le haubanage par des drisses, affalé les voiles et mis le moteur, la solitaire pouvait faire route vers le port morbihannais distant de vingt milles environ. Port de Caen Ouistreham devrait donc arriver au ponton de la base sous-marine vers 14h ce samedi pour effectuer une expertise et envisager une réparation rapide afin de repartir au plus tôt vers Roscoff pour la quatrième étape dont le départ sera donné le 20 juin.
