SYDNEY 2 days time, boat show media coverage - book yours now!
Firstly – and thanks for the barrage of emails on this one – in my excitement about the Sydney Boat Show I was extolling 1 August as the start of spring.
Yes, I admit to a poor knowledge of the southern seasons, but I am praying for a taste of spring as I pack for Sydney now . . . and so are organisers of the 46th annual Sydney International Boat Show, who believe families have had enough of the doom and gloom of politics and the economy and are looking for compelling, good-value leisure options!

And that's just what the show is all about: delivering the right product at the right price with the right attitude to connect with consumers, according to Domenic Genua, who's currently flying around the Halls and Marina organising his 16th boat show at this venue, and the last one til 2017 when it will return to a brand new home.
You can see preparations and a few blasts from the past on the Sydney Boat Show Facebook page - including pearlers like this one!

So, it's all things SIBS this week – the model launches, the innovations, the new products and entertainment that will bring visitors in droves over the five day event, come rain or shine.

PLUS, new to the show this year is the boosted participation of the TetraMedia group – publishers of MarineBusiness-World.com, Powerboat-World.com, FishingBoating-World.com and Sail-World.com web sites.
This year, we will be inviting advertisers and exhibitors to share their news in interviews at our purpose-built facility, the MarineBusiness-World.com Video Studio on the main show floor (booth 426) on the main traffic walkway between Halls 5 and 4.
With the assistance of film and media interns, we're aiming to shoot around 80 video interviews, with industry heavyweights, a cross section of exhibitors, government reps, keynote speakers and more.
These clips will be edited to about five minutes and will be posted on the Boat Show website, on YouTube and naturally on MarineBusiness-World.com, Powerboat-World.com, FishingBoating-World.com and Sail-World.com.
Every brand and organisation has a story to tell, so to manage the demand for interview opportunities we have a simple online form to allow you to register your interest.
We will contact you to schedule a video interview time and discuss the best content, images you want to display as background for the video interview and topics.
Register now to get your Sydney International Boat Show news on video online, via the Sydney International Boat Show website, on Youtube and on the largest marine industry online news network in the world.
Whether you're exhibiting, attending as a visitor or guest, this show is gearing up to be a beauty!
See you there!
