Analysis and news from around the sailing scene

Today we look at Team Oracle's decreasing options to get back into the America's Cup Game.

With just ten months left to the Defence of the 34th America's Cup, Oracle Team USA's current situation is not ideal. But it certainly isn't terminal either. After her capsize and subsequent retrieval from San Francisco Bay on October 16, there has been little by the way of comment from the team as to the state of the damage to their first launched AC72. Richard Gladwell looks at the situation in detail.

John Curnow updates us on the Byte CII, the single handed dinghy, specifically designed for lightweight sailors, both youth and women which will be used at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games.

In the inaugural 2012 Farr 40 Queensland Championship, former world champion Guido Belgiorno-Nettis and his crew of Transfusion blasted through another day of strong winds on Brisbane's Moreton Bay today to claim the win.
