Nathan finished second in this world class catamaran field on Saturday. A sailor in hurry, the multiple 49er and 2011 Moth World Champion is now on Port Phillip sailing at the Moth Nationals, which started yesterday.
His younger brother Beau had been driving our Media boat all week. After crossing the finishing line, the two brothers swapped roles. Beau had his first A-Cat ride and I interviewed our Media boat driver as we headed back to the Wangi Sailing Club.
We have been receiving some great reports from a whole range of Nationals... something like a dozen over the last week alone... and we thank everyone for that!!
If your club, association or race committee would like to publicise or report on an event, especially if its National titles, stories, pictures and or results can be uploaded via our Sail-World.com Contributors System at the top right of the site.
Click on the link Submit News Photos etc. and follow the instructions and don't forget the URL of your website or event as we provide a live hyperlink back to your site.
Sail-World's 220,000 readers are hungry for sailing news and Sail-world welcomes your contributions.
If you've not yet seen reports on your Club or Class on Sail-World recently, send a nice email to your Club or Class Publicity officer... so everyone will.
AND going forward please ask your event organisers to make sure sending event reports, photos, videos to Sail-World.com are high on the priority list for 2012 and onwards.
Sailors are online, our Asia Pacific audience is some 30 times larger than the Australian sailing magazine numbers sold or given away that I used to read as a kid.
BTW - Did you know that it was an Aussie GME Personal EPirb that saved the 21 crew on the Rambler in last August's Fastnet race? We will bring you more on GME in the next few days...
If you liked this newsletter, do nothing, we will send you another .. Naa, please don't send me another.
