Sanctuary Cove online, MarineBusiness-World media win

Today may be the 'race that stops a nation' (whatever time zone you drinking champagne in around Australia), but today is also a date on the calendars of many marine marketers and companies: Exhibitor applications are now open online for the 2012 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. Organisers are promising an enhanced program of events for visitors, exhibitors and trade, so make a point of visiting for details to date.

Also this week, insight in to the appeal of Thailand as a burgeoning superyacht destination AND potential site of investment by the world's most accomplished yacht builders, following a visit by a delegation of refit and building proponents.

There's a thorough review of the inaugural Macau Yacht Show by Sail-World's Guy Nowell, an assortment of new products and to blow our own trumpet, news of our win at the recent Gold Coast Media Awards for BEST ONLINE PUBLICATION. Considering we were competing against Channel Nine and the Gold Coast Bulletin as finalists, it's a prized accolade. does have the figures and the reach - greater than IBI and Soundings, the two other major trade publications. Thank you for your interest and loyalty.

Don't forget, Gold Coast, Queensland and national exhibitors are gearing up for the Gold Coast Marine Expo, this Friday to Sunday at the high-tech and family-friendly Coomera marine precinct. Dean Leigh Smith at Gold Coast City Marina is certain the weather will stay clear and warm and the attractions will please everybody, no matter their age or inclination.
