Ainslie on J109, RS Games and much more sailing news
Welcome to the latest edition of our Sail-World.com UK newsletter.
The Half Ton Classic Cup kicked off earlier this week at Cowes. The long race around the Isle of Wight turned into a ten hour marathon but despite the mixed conditions and tides, the race to the finish was very close indeed with Insatiable taking line honours from Concorde and Per Elise.
Weymouth is indeed a very busy place with the RS classes testing the waters of WPNSA and while the Brits are making a splash on the fourth leg of La Solitaire du Figaro, Burnham Sailing Week is gearing up for a start.
News too that Ben Ainslie is to skipper a chartered J109 at the European Championships.
Of course we have lots of dinghy news - Mirror Nationals, RS classes, Musto Skiffs, Larks, RS500 Worlds and much more.
Great images of the 18ft Skiffs flying around San Francisco Bay and don't miss the latest videos, images news and views - both local and from around the sailing world.
