Franklin and Brake will have to push the whole way to the end of the regatta with the third placed American team currently tied on points and the fourth placed Dutch crew just two points further back.... Anticipating light winds tomorrow, the Race Committee decided to run three races for each of the 470 fleets on day five, which means that there is now only one race to be held on Thursday to determine the top 10 boats going through to the 470 Men and 470 Women Medal Races on Friday.... [more]

The Offshore Racing Congress has announced that it will be expanding sailor services to include the nearly 50,000 certificates in the database which go back to the early 90's. ISAF Youth Worlds 2011 has resulted in a victory for Maxime Mazard (FRA) who continues to lead the Laser Radial Boys in Zadar, Croatia. Mazard finished 24th in race eight before discarding his 38th place finish in race nine. Conditions on Course Area D for the first races of the day were tricky with the wind shifting and with 7 knots, before decreasing to 4 knots as the fleets finished race 5. After some tough racing against good competition TBR finished third in the Eurex Match Cup held by the Chicago Match Race Center. The regatta was a qualifier for the Chicago Match Cup, a Grade 2 regatta in August which is part of the US Grand Slam Series.
