You're nobody these days unless you have a wing on your boat - and even Optimist sailors have to keep up with the times. And it's not even 1st. April!

The RHKYC's biennial San Fernando Race is under way right now, with two Abu Dhabi VOR crewmen, and Ian Walker, on board Sam Chan's FreeFire. Sounds like they are going to be toughing it a lot more than last time I did the SFR - memories of cold chicken salad, chilled white wine and laser disc movies - and, yes, we won our division!

We've news of a new regatta (rally?) from Langkawi to Sabang in Indonesia - line up here for your cash prizes - and reports from the China (Shanghai) International Boat Show, a preview of the Korean equivalent, snippets from the world of the AC and plenty more.

Enjoy the Easter weekend.
