New Media launch in May, Marine Park issue ignites, Marinas 2011 ahead

You will be reading all week with the range of stories and features onboard!

We have scoured the globe for this batch, which includes a few on the Marine Park debate which has come to a head recently and will be the main story on the Australian version of 60 Minutes screening in around four weeks time.

Keith Douglas, president of the Marine Action Group talks exclusively with us about why this is not an environmental issue, but a political ploy, made the worse by the Greens hold over the federal Labor government.

Also this week, some compelling research which shows the exponential growth of internet TV will be driven by consumers' appetite for immediate, online information - great news for web-based media and their advertisers.

TetraMedia, publisher of Sail-World, Powerboat-World and MarineBusiness-World, is proud to announce that has nabbed the naming rights for the mammoth Pavilion A at Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May.

Pavilion A is the amalgam of both A & B of previous years, and will be the largest temporary structure in the southern hemisphere during the boat show, housing more than 130 exhibitors. There will be some other exciting developments related to Sanctuary Cove that we will reveal over the next few weeks, including the launch of brand marine consumer on line publication that will further extend the reach of the Tetra Media Marine Group and bring you a fresh stream of pertinent, authoritative news.

We have been busy too with all our sites, allowing advertisers to run new ads every day, if you are a potential marine industry advertiser this is a must read.

Boat shows, new brands, innovations and awards are all covered this week.

Please keep in touch with your own news and views.
