There was a good deal of to-ing and fro-ing last year in the Philippines over the President's Cup, the Commodore's Cup and the Manila (or Subic) to Boracay Race, and 'an event' in Boracay. So now we are very happy to advise that there WILL be a Subic-Boracay Race (starts 19 February) and there WILL be an inshore regatta called the Boracay Cup straight afterwards. Some say it is the ultimate destination/weather/racing combination, some say... Why not go and check it out?

The Subic to Boracay Race start at 1100 on Saturday 19 February and boats are expected to take between 20 and 48 hours to reach Boracay. The race will introduce an interesting tactical challenge to navigators, as the course will allow boats to choose to pass either side of Mindoro Island.
