Southern hemisphere sailing ramps up - all the latest news

As winter fast approaches, the southern hemisphere is gearing up for their major sailing season.

The Monsoon Cup, the final of the World Match Racing Tour and World Champion decider is about to commence at Kuala Terengganu in Malaysia. The championship is wide open and with the world's richest prize money on offer the competition is sure to be tough. Frenchman Mathieu Richard hold onto his Tour lead to win the title and the prize purse?

The Louis Vuitton Trophy has completed in Dubai, UAE with Emirates Team New Zealand triumphant. We have the news and some great galleries of images from the event.

The Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht race, reputed to be one of the toughest in the world, starts Boxing Day, December 26th. is running a series of dedicated newsletters, so be sure to sign up to receive all the latest news and interviews from the race.
