Aussie dollar impact, Annapolis highlights, BIA Vic Business Lunch

Welcome to another week of marine news from around the world. We have a blend of stories covering the new heights of the Australian dollar in comparison to the US dollar and Euro - how exporters, importers and retailers have responded and what consumers make of it all;

A post-Annapolis Sailboat Show review from exhibitors, and first reports from the second Asia superyacht conference in Singapore last week.

There's an interesting mix of environmental news, some conceptual new vessels that brand themselves carbon neutral - perhaps the future of the motor yachting industry - and an update of what's on offer at the BIA Vic Women in Marine Business lunch, Thursday 18 November (and open to men as well, please note!)

Please keep in touch and have a sensational week afloat.

Jeni Bone, editor
