Congratulation to Tom Slingsby triple Laser World Champion and Etchells World Champion and Olympic Gold Medallist Malcolm Page and his fellow 470 World Champion Mat Belcher on nomination for ISAF Sailor of the Year.

We interviewed Tom today, he is currently Moth sailing on Lake Macquarie ahead of the Heaven Can Wait 30 mile One Lap Dash on Saturday.

He and Nathan Outteridge, who is about to step onto a jumbo heading back from the Melges 32 Worlds in SFO will be talking at the Heaven Can Wait Welcome Dinner on Friday night. There are a few seats available at that dinner.

Currently the Heaven Can Wait group has raised $24k for Mens Cancer Research in the lead up to this regatta and with the guys help we are hoping to break thru towards $35k.
