 14 May 2010

Doing a timed run is much easier if there is breeze, with a 15-20 knot south westerly forecast for tomorrow morning off Sydney Heads, it should be a beam reach for Jessica Watson's S&S 34 as she heads towards the finish line, with TV helicopters above her. We wish her good conditions and good luck.

A lot of other things happening, a very very important report from the ISAF Olympic Commission has just been released. We've interviewed Phil Jones, the Yachting Australia CEO, and the driving force behind the Olympic Commission at length this week. We have published the first part of the series... its a very important report which has the potential to change the face of sailing world-wide.

Now have you entered the Win a 25 year berth competition- its a prize valued at $300,000 - can you afford not to enter? Do it NOW!!

Enjoy the news.
