Welcome to Sail-World.Com's New Zealand newsletter for 15 January 2010.
With just over three weeks to go, there is still little agreement on anything to do with the upcoming America's Cup Match, in Valencia.
Talks held in Singapore, originally scheduled for one day stretched for two, but still with no definitive outcome.
In this issue we background the issue as best we know it, as well as splicing information between the now predictable lines of the Media Releases emitted at every new twist of the plot.
Overnight (NZT) a gale hit Valencia, causing damage to the Alinghi base, we have the latest pictures and video in this edition.
The Constructed in Country issue has taken a new turn. We have the latest releases from the Challenger and Defender and with the assistance of North Sails NZ have some very interesting shots of the key steps in this process.

There are some pretty stunning image galleries of the 12ft skiff Interdominion being sailed on Auckland's Waitemata harbor. For those who have not seen these boats in action, they are barely in touch with reality and the harbor. Fresh winds yesterday were a great excuse to 'send it!'.

One of the crews have a combined 110 years between them!
And while those in Australia swelter in 40degree plus heat, in England one of their premier race the Bloody Mary has been sailed in snow flurries and 25kt northerly (cold) winds. In this issue we feature a gallery of images from Ian Roman from the event.
