The latest boating news from the Asia Pacific and beyond

Editorial, October 8, 2009.

There's only one way to describe this week's Powerboat-World and that's ‘interest-packed.'

If it happened in the world of powerboats, we've got it covered, the good news and the bad.

Bad news for Maritimo's ace offshore driver Tom Barry-Cotter relegated to second place after ‘winning' the Italian Offshore GP.

Even worse news from the United States where three people were killed when their high-performance boat ran aground.

We put the lid on the fact and fiction related to the controversial ethanol fuel, E10.

Visitors to Melbourne have no doubt often used that city's popular tramway network – but you can also catch a tram powered by a Yanmar diesel! Right, it's a water-borne tram taking passengers cruising through the city on the Yarra River.

In NSW more than 1300 boaters were subjected to on-water safety tests by NSW Maritime officers over the long weekend in that state.

We have the latest news from the F1 H20 GP in China and a preview of next month's Wide Bay Australia Bundy Thunder.

Don't miss taking a look at the latest creation from the prestige US boat builder Cobalt.

Read on and stop by any day to catch all our updates.
