Industry voice launch, Korea on target, Auctions signal confidence
Welcome to another week of global boating (and fishing) industry news. Last week, a new and very vocal industry group was launched in Canberra, meeting with government reps to start the ball rolling on matters of concern to the broader boating and fishing industries.
Known as the Fishing & boating Council of Australia, it is an industry first - formed with the sole purpose of lobbying government on issues that impact on all stakeholders.
First on the agenda, expressing concern and returning some balance to the debate over the declaration of the Coral Sea as a Conservation Zone.
Watch this space for more on the charter and initiatives of this timely industry organisation.
