On a more positive note, Hong Kong's name is still in the hat when it comes to the recently-announced Louis Vuitton World Series. The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club has put in a HK$10m application to the HK Government Mega-Fund - it just remains to be seen whether the decision-makers have enough imagination to understand that a Louis Vuitton World Series event in Hong Kong harbour is likely to generate a great deal more international interest and exposure than a Div 3 wushu match in Yuen Long Town Hall (Where? Exactly!)
