Spithill takes Womens title at Match Cup Sweden WMRT Media, Marstrand, Sweden, Day 5 of Match Cup Sweden was ladies day with the Women's semi's and finals scheduled. The fantastic weather continued today with a 10-12 knot sea breeze from the west north west which enabled a course to be laid right in the middle of Marstrand fijord in front of the VIP pavilion and the masses of spectators who swarmed all over the rocks. French Access Class Championships - UK Team report Richard Smallwood, French Access Class Championships was held on the river Erdre at La Chapelle-sur-Erdre near Nantes in western France, this event gave the small UK contingent an excellent experience of international competition, with competitors from The Netherlands and Australia as well as the host country, especially as Team-UK all came away with prizes for finishing in the first three.... Laser builder appointed to the Order of Canada Sail-World and Paul Henderson, Ian Bruce (Montreal) builder and co-designer of the International Laser class, was awarded the Order of Canada on Canada Day, 1st July.
