Halfway-round-the-island-race at Koh Samui
Despite some skeptics making dire predictions about holding a round-the-island race, the race organisers decided to go ahead anyway. The slower boats in the Premier and Multihull classes took the option of starting early and the bulk of the fleet got away at the scheduled 10:00am starting sequence. Thailand 1-2 at Singapore Byte CII Nationals

Perfect sailing conditions in Korea today, set a magnificent scene for some great action on the water. 12 flights were completed in a very nice 8-10 knot onshore breeze, however BlackMatch were only involved in three. We managed wins over last weeks Germany Match Champion Ben Ainslie and local hope Byeong Ki Park, while our loss came in strange circumstances against rival Torvar Mirsky.... [more]

We continued to be blessed with favourable wind conditions; racing on both courses got off to a good start once again this morning. On Course Bravo, four races were held, bringing us to race 9 of the series completed.
