Two Vendee Globe competitors relaunch their yachts

RC 44 Championship Tour heads for Austria
The third event of the RC 44 Championship Tour 2008 promises once again to be interesting, with nine top level teams led by some of the world's best sailors. The RC 44 Austria Cup will take place on the beautiful lake Traun, between May 28 - June 1. Tricky conditions Day 1 Delta Lloyd Regatta 2008

The Delta Lloyd Regatta started with tricky conditions on the IJsselmeer (Netherlands). Laser Radial sailor Anna Tunnicliffe (USA) leads, Dutchmen Dorian van Rijsselberge leads with two wins in the RS:X and so does Marina Alabau (ESP) in the women fleet and Gasper Vincec (SLO) in the Finn. Yngling trio Schuemann/Bleck/Hoepfner (GER) leads with a 1-1-3. The Tornados are tied for first place.... [more]
