Williams Jet Tenders, the world's leading jet tender specialist, today announces it has been honoured with the first ever King's Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category.

The King's Awards for Enterprise is the most prestigious accolade bestowed upon business enterprises demonstrating excellence across various sectors in the UK and were established to celebrate and promote outstanding achievement. These awards carry the endorsement of the British monarchy, symbolising the highest standards of innovation, enterprise and ethical practices.

Williams Jet Tenders is one of 252 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious King's Award for Enterprise. Announced today (Monday 6 May), the company has been recognised for its excellence in International Trade which honours businesses that have achieved remarkable success in exporting goods or services overseas, contributing to the UK's reputation as a hub of international commerce, and driving economic prosperity.

Owners and Directors, John and Mathew Hornsby jointly praised the team when recognising the accolade, commenting: "We are honoured to receive the King's Award for Enterprise in International Trade. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to our dedicated team whose expertise and diligence have propelled us to the forefront of the industry, showcasing the best of British ingenuity on a global stage. This recognition holds special significance as we celebrate our 20th anniversary in 2024."

The King's Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen's Awards for Enterprise, were renamed last year to reflect His Majesty The King's desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II by recognising outstanding UK businesses. The Awards programme is now in its 58th year.

Applications for King's Awards for Enterprise 2025 open on His Majesty The King's Coronation, 6th May 2024 For more information, visit www.gov.uk/kings-awards-for-enterprise.
