Join us for the Seven Seas Cruising Association's 37th Annual Chesapeake Bay Cruisers' Conference and "GAM" from September 27 through September 29, 2024.

The Chesapeake Bay GAM reflects the growing number of Bay cruisers and Offshore cruisers, who congregate in the Chesapeake Bay waiting to head south down the ICW or east offshore to points east and south. It's also for those new to cruising who have questions and for boaters just visiting in the area who want to meet up with others. Both SSCA members and non-members are invited to attend this event.

The 2024 Seven Seas Cruising Association event will be held again at the Maryland Yacht Club (MYC) in Pasadena, Maryland. Speakers specifically focused on your boating and cruising needs will join us to talk about cruising 'How To' for both new and experienced voyagers. Friday evening will be our popular "Heading North & South BBQ/Potluck" held at the outside Pavilion area. Join us for discussions on your cruising plans (now or in the future) during this gathering/potluck. This offers a great opportunity to meet others with similar plans. Bring your favorite dish! Find free parking, and a generous protected anchorage with dinghy access to the Yacht club. If a slip is desired, Maryland Yacht Club has slips available, on a first come first served basis.

The area offers provisioning opportunities and access for boaters' needs in a less crowded anchorage. The three-day event will have fellowship, time to chat with fellow cruisers, programs and seminars of interest for those cruising now or in the future. Our seminar speakers will present on topics of critical interest for the cruiser and provide ideas for passaging in today's environment. Talk with local sponsors, find what will work for your cruising this year at the Maryland SSCA Cruisers' Conference and GAM.

Registration will open July 12, 2024 at www.ssca.org/Chesapeake. There is a set number of attendees allowed, so register early. Questions? Contact our HomeBase Coordinator at .

Start this year's Heading South season with SSCA!

Loads of amenity - Goes like a cut cat
As the first Cure 55 steps closer to being splashed it looked more like a Purosangue to me As the first Cure 55 steps ever closer to being splashed, I could not help thinking that it was a lot like the Ferrari Purosangue.
