ACE emerges, with Aussie link

by Luxury Charter Group 18 Oct 2022 06:49 PDT

The first 44.27-metre C144S model from Polish yard, Conrad Yachts has made her debut. Named "ACE", she is the largest vessel built to date in Poland.

ACE is a fully bespoke superyacht custom-built for her Swiss owner, who was introduced to Conrad by Luxury Charter Group, who had managed his charter vacations for over a decade and worked with their client on his list of "must haves" for specification on his own superyacht.

The C144S model is the step up from the previous model, the Conrad C133 - brought to life in the form of the award-winning 'VIATORIS'. According to designers, the "S" in C144S stands for Straight bow which bestows on her the superlatives: Superb, Sleek and Sexy.

Conrad Yachts, based in Gdansk, Poland was chosen after many months of research, guided by Luxury Charter Group broker, Radek Gendek, who organised meetings between his client and the world's leading shipyards at yacht shows in Europe and the US.

The craftsmanship, build quality, optimisation of every space and superb customisation appealed to the client.

The exterior of ACE was designed by acclaimed British studio Reymond Langton Design, with naval architecture by the Netherlands' Diana Yacht Design, and interior spaces by m2atelier, Milan.

During the build, construction was supervised by Nicolai Yacht Consulting & Project Management. Built of steel and aluminium and with an impressive volume of 494 Gross Tonnage, Ace boasts several deck spaces and five staterooms, comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests plus nine crew.

Other notable features include an outer deck composed of multi-functional zones: a beach club with a large fixed swim platform and access to water toys, spacious cockpit on the main deck which is ideal for socialising and entertaining, separate dining and lounging areas on the bridge deck, sofas and sunpads on the foredeck, and an expansive sundeck with lounging areas, on-deck cinema, plus convertible dining and infinity pool.

Inside, the main saloon with lounge and dining spaces has massive floor to ceiling windows for light and views. Guests on board will enjoy close to silent cruising thanks to high-tech insulation, and the vessel is fitted out with a dedicated cold room, stabilisers and state-of-the-art navigation and communication equipment for longer sojourns at sea.

Located in Gdansk, Poland, one of the most historic shipbuilding cities in Northern Europe, Conrad Shipyard was founded in 2003, named after Polish-British writer and seafarer, Joseph Conrad. The yard specialises in the highest quality, class approved, steel, and aluminium luxury yachts ranging from 20 to 100 metres.

Luxury Charter Group is an independent global charter and sales brokerage with offices in Europe, the US and Australia. The experienced brokers at Luxury Charter Group organised meetings with superyacht yard representatives and inspections of yachts to ensure their client had the best options from which to choose.

They then guided the client through every step of the purchase process, including contract and specification negotiations, assisted in assembling the international team of designers and specialists, and closely followed the construction process.

Ahead of ACE'S launch, Luxury Charter Group was involved in crew selection to ensure the best fit with the owner and delivery of 5-star service for the vessel's future charter guests.

From 2023, ACE will be available for charter in the Mediterranean exclusively through Luxury Charter Group.
