All eyes were on the Danish capital this weekend, with the WASZP EuroCup taking place adjacent to the SailGP event in Copenhagen.

A competitive 21 boat fleet took to the water, with many of the Norwegian and Danish sailors competing in the SailGP INSPIRE program there are plenty of boats to add to the fleet.

Micha De Weck continued the good form of Swiss WASZP sailors by winning the EuroCup leg by 4pts to Jesse Lindstadt from Germany. In 3rd place and first female sailor was Marie Butler-Wang from Norway.

We now head to Spain for the next EuroCup event from the 9-11th of September, this event doubles as a SailGP Qualifier for the Cadiz SailGP event. Finally we wrap up the northern hemisphere summer in Germany from the 1-3 October for the final EuroCup event.

Jacob Waersten (Norway) and Eira Nilsson (Norway) progress to the SailGP Grand Final series, the final day of Gold Fleet racing proved spectacular in front of the large Copenhagen crowds. 10-15knots of breeze across the course provided perfect WASZP conditions.
