Sophisticated, powerful and majestic, the Explorer continues unabated to conquer new markets with the sale of the tenth unit completed by Sanlorenzo Greece, represented by Ekka Yachts.

The result of a long design process undertaken by Sanlorenzo Superyacht together with the knowledgeable owner to meet his specific requirements, the tenth Explorer unit follows the recent sale of another superyacht by Sanlorenzo Greece.

"We are extremely proud to be witnessing such impressive and immediate results following our recent decision to partner-up with Sanlorenzo. We are even more enthused by the level of commitment and expertise the superyacht division has demonstrated in addressing a very demanding and knowledgeable Greek client from the top tier of commercial shipping" said Dimitris Kyriazakos, Managing director of EKKA Yachts.

One of the models most favoured for owners wishing to enjoy long crossings without sacrificing maximum comfort, the Explorer combines Sanlorenzo's unmistakable elegance with large, articulated spaces on board and the latest technologies that have made it possible to transform a typology born as a commercial vessel into a sophisticated superyacht designed to allow complete autonomy in whilst exploring far-off locations.

At 47 metres in length and with a tonnage of just under 500 tonnes, the 500Exp is distinguished by its exceptional sailing performance, with a high cruising range of 4,000 nautical miles, enabling it to navigate along the coast with minimal consumption and to make ocean crossings with ease.

The Explorer thus offers owners an almost unobtainable gift: an authentic sense of adventure.

Every kind of nautical entertainment is guaranteed on board the Explorer, thanks to the possibility of accommodating tenders or sailing boats of up to 9 metres in the stern or, depending on the Owner's wishes, a seaplane or a submarine, spaces that would be unthinkable in yachts of the same size.

The lower deck, on the other hand, houses a beach club which, thanks to the opening hatch, allows for a complete connection with the sea and which, as an option, can be converted into a garage to accommodate tenders of up to seven metres and numerous toys.

The new model offers accommodation for 12 guests in six cabins and for 9 crew members in five cabins.

With the tenth vessel in the Explorer line, Sanlorenzo has sold its eigth metal superyacht between 44 and 57 metres in just two and a half months.
