Winner of a Boating Industry 2021 Top Product Award, the new Nautic Alert® Insight X3™ automatically switches between available Wi-Fi, cellular, or Iridium satellite networks transparently, making communication redundancy and being "always connected" a standard option for mission critical onboard monitoring applications.

Insight uses a state-of-the-art cloud and device architecture, and is available in two different models, satellite/Wi-Fi and satellite/cellular. With the satellite/Wi-Fi option, onboard broadband can be used at no cost.

The satellite/cellular option allows Insight to switch between Verizon (US) and Iridium networks, which provides blazing fast 4G connectivity in-land and communications immunity to sky obstructions. Unlike other solutions that offer "dual-mode" through an additional hardware dongle, Insight integrates both internally and costs only a few dollars more than satellite-only, and comes with real-time two-way communications and no reduced device functionality when operating over satellite.

Insight provides the most reliable intrusion detection available, bilge predictive analytics when waiting for high-water is not an option and general purpose monitoring for multi-battery banks, shore power, smoke and carbon monoxide. With Insight's modular architecture, the system can scale to any budget and size and supports wired and wireless commercial-grade sensors.

When off the grid, Insight uses Iridium's NEXT 2-way real-time reliable network for satellite connectivity, so delivery of messages can be verified, unlike one-way simplex satellite networks. This also enables on-demand system and location data to be requested any time, which is not possible with one-way simplex networks.

Out-of-the-box Insight includes a high-precision ultra-reliable anchor alarm/geofence that can be set to as little as 50 feet and intelligently auto adjusts as the signal degrades to prevent false alerts through exceptional proven algorithms. In addition, it supports a messaging terminal allowing communications with any cell phone via text messaging when off the grid.

The Nautic Alert Mobile App supports a fleet view of all devices and a vessel tracking interface that automatically calculates and displays previous routes.
