France's Axel Mazella maintained his dominance on the third day of the Formula Kite Individual European Championships in Puck.

Following two days of competition, the men's event was split into two fleets, with the top 33 athletes contesting the gold fleet of a discipline due to make its Olympic debut at Paris 2024.

Mazella continued his impressive run, triumphing in all four races (plus two carry forward scores) to top the leaderboard with six points.

Compatriot Maxime Nocher is second on 14.0 points after recording two third place finishes, two second place finishes and a fourth place finish.

His 12th place finish was discarded as his worst result of the day.

The men's gold flight races are set to continue tomorrow.

Competition is set to continue tomorrow before the medal races on Sunday.

Four races were completed in the women's contest, with Polish teenagers Julia Damasiewicz and Magdalena Woyciechowska staying at the top of the leaderboard.
