Evinrude have announced today that Tracy Crocker, President of the BRP Marine Group; Jeff Wasil, Engineering Manager in Emissions Testing, Certification and Regulatory Development for BRP Evinrude; and James Irwin, President of Alumacraft attended the American Boating Congress in Washington D.C. last week.

"The American Boating Congress is an excellent opportunity to collectively share issues that impact the recreational boating industry," said Wasil. "During my time in D.C., I was able to advocate on behalf of the industry and Evinrude to discuss the impacts of trade and tariffs on our businesses, the need for blue infrastructure projects to improve boating access, the impacts of E15 and biofuels policy and share the story of our business with congressional leaders. I also had the opportunity and honor to meet with and introduce EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler at the general session. Advocating on behalf of this industry will help ensure we continue to preserve and grow recreational boating in the United States."

Evinrude's engine line up, from 3.5 to 300 HP, offers customers superior value across a full range of applications, and are available at authorized Evinrude dealerships worldwide. Follow Evinrude on Facebook at www.facebook.com/brpevinrude.
