Australia's world-renowned motor yacht builder, Riviera, will proudly Premiere its sophisticated 5400 Sport Yachts in conjunction with dedicated Riviera and Belize Dealer Lee Marine at the first annual Phuket Rendezvous in Thailand from January 4 to 7.

The Phuket Rendezvous replaces the annual PIMEX boat show in Thailand.

Lee Marine General Manager Martin Holmes said he and his team are excited to display this elegant model to the Asian motor yachting community at the Royal Phuket Marina.

"The Riviera 5400 Sport Yacht epitomise the combined commitment of Riviera and Lee Marine to fulfilling the lifestyle dreams of discerning motor yacht enthusiasts in Thailand and throughout south-east Asia," said Mr Holmes.

"The alfresco layouts merging the welcoming and superbly equipped cockpit spaces with luxurious and comfortable interiors are the hallmark of Sport Yachts. The 5400 model is a supreme example.

"The accomplished designers, engineers and master craftsmen at Riviera's headquarters in Australia are continually refining the designs and easy-to-use technology and equipment aboard these motor yachts that make the joy of Riviera ownership a sheer pleasure," he said.

Riviera 5400 Sport Yacht - Thailand Premiere

The 5400 Sport Yacht has impressed owners and boat show visitors around the world since her launch.

"The three-stateroom, two-bathroom 5400 model is an evolution of the luxury single-level living design for which Riviera's Sport Yacht series is highly awarded," said Mr Holmes.

"The forward deck features an upholstered sun lounge and, in the cockpit, a sunroof slides open at the touch of a button so you can also enjoy the sunshine out of the wind. This is a true entertainer's cockpit that connects seamlessly through to the aft gourmet galley and spacious salon through a large sliding glass door and awning window that opens out and places the chef right in the centre of the social environment."

The sports-inspired centreline helm console provides excellent visibility and ergonomics so that all critical navigation electronics, comprehensive engine instrumentation and vessel controls are within easy reach. An L-shape lounge in the port forward quarter beside the helm offers guests a panoramic view.

"The accommodation deck of the 5400 Sport Yacht features a luxurious midships full-beam master stateroom with ensuite, the option for either a port side guest stateroom or an accommodation atrium lounge and a spacious VIP guest stateroom forward with ensuite/day head.

Base power for the 5400 is the Volvo Penta D11-IPS800 propulsion system with twin D11 turbo diesel engines and IPS20 pod-drives (460kW/626hp each). Owners have the option of the D11-IPS950 system featuring twin D11 engines and IPS20 pod-drives (533kW/725hp each). With Riviera, all Volvo Penta systems and drives are covered by an industry-leading five-year warranty.
