Craftinsure ready to help at Southport!

Although weather conditions are expected to be fair at this weekend's West Lancs 24 Hour Race, help from Craftinsure will be there if needed, not least for their adopted University team from nearby Lancaster.

Craftinsure also has close links with Hollingworth Lake Sailing Club who will be starting in the same flight as Lancaster University this year, having slipped down the rankings following a struggle to finish in 2015 after their boat developed a serious leak during the event. By contrast Lancaster, usually more prone to technical problems, finished in a higher position than the previous year and will no doubt be hoping to build on that!

Good luck to everyone involved in what promises to be great 50th Anniversary race.

Back racing hard in The Transat CIC and today is some 700 miles from the finish line After a strong, solid start to the Transat CIC, Clarisse Crémer suffered damage to the J3 bulkhead of her L'Occitaine en Provence on May 1st which required her to divert 500 miles to the Azores for five days whilst her technical team completed repairs.
